Angela Pestelli studied Classics at the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa where she graduated in Latin Literature in 1996, with a thesis on prose rhythm in the Metamorphoses of Apuleius. She took a PhD in Greel and Latin Philology in 2002 with Professor Gian Biagio Conte at the University of Pisa, with a thesis on Ovid’s Heroid VIII. Her interest focus also on Plautus and Petronius. Her publications include several Latin textbooks and a Commentary on Ovid, Heroidum Epistula VIII Hermione Oresti.
