Victoria Moul is a Junior Research Fellow at the Queen’s College, Oxford. She works on the English Renaissance reception of classical texts, especially Latin poetry, and the practice and circulation of classical translation in manuscript. Her teaching and research includes topics in both classical and English literature, as well as the fruitful connections between them. She is also interested in neo-Latin of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, and has published and presented on various topics in this field. She has a special interest in the translation of classical languages (Latin, Greek and Sanskrit), and of the lyric poetry of these languages in particular.
